So far it looks that ps4 won't happen. We are small team so we have decided to contact several outsourcing companies who are porting games to consoles but neither one is interested. The cost to develop on consoles is high and it doesn't look RK would do so well to be worth it (also the multi-player part makes it much harder than porting just a single-player game). Maybe next time...

I see that's the old Palm OS version. It doesn't have hi-res graphics like the iOS version (and it doesn't contain some newer levels). But if it's playable that's great :)

I think this game would be much better if the character's progress might be saved , it would certainly be something that I would spend too much time playing like a Diablo , the game is very good, but it does not save progress , I felt horrible and has stopped play with my brother
The progress of your character is saved (challenges, unlocked rewards, classes). What is not saved is progress of the current run, the game features perma-death like most of the "rogue-like" games so if your hero dies, your run ends. You can play casual mode, which has checkpoints on the beginning of each level. Also note that during a run, you can quit and continue the run later on from the place where you quit.

Thanks for the suggestions, I saw you thread on steam forums. We are considering adding new class with shield (it is also possible we will make the shield an item which can be found in the levels, we haven't decided yet). Extra level is also possible. Right now we are focusing on fixing bugs and then we want to add new items and events to the game before adding new features or classes.

We use our own engine, it is written in C++ and uses Squirrel scripting language for scripting and OpenGL for rendering.

Yes, we would like to add some of our games to gog but we are currently busy with finishing rampage knights. We also want to improve archibald a bit (better gamepad support, adding achievements etc) so we will probably do it after rampage knights release.

One thing you may try is to enable vsync (or if you have it enabled, try disable it). The game uses variable time updates and maybe there is a bug in the boss which is dependent on how fast your computer is rendering the frames. Maybe even switching fullscreen/windowed mode could have an effect.
I doubt it will help, but you may give it a try.

I think the steam version of JnG has vsync option in the options. But sometimes the option can be ignored by graphic card drivers, so you may look into the drivers settings.

We are sorry but we don't plan to port the game to android. It is not worth for us to port the game now so long after its release and we don't have experience with android system anyway.

Linux demo can be downloaded from linux game publishing web. But I really don't recommend buying full version from them because we are not able to contact them and we have never received any money from jng linux orders from them. So I would prefer using windows version running under Wine if it works for you.

P.S. I volunteer to do the dirty work of the transformation of existing ready-made textures to black and white. The only thing I never did such work but principally I am willing to help with it.
Thanks for the offer but that is not necessary. Even in 2D, the game would be using shaders for screen effects and tone mapping to greyscale can be easily done without modifying any textures.

Currently JnG is 67% way to top 100. But the problem is it was already over 70% some time ago so it is declining. And also 60% "no" votes doesn't help either. The game would need really HUGE number of votes...
